Cookie Policy
Effective date: May 27, 2026 — Last reviewed: May 2026
Canadian Wealth Creation Centre Inc. (CWCC), operating as CWCC and IBCFinancial.com, is committed to protecting the personal information of every individual we serve. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, S.C. 2000, c. 5) at the federal level and, for individuals in Quebec, in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1, as modernized by An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information, S.Q. 2021, c. 25, commonly referred to as Law 25).
This policy applies to personal information collected through cwcc.ca, IBCFinancial.com, financierecbi.com, any associated booking or scheduling platforms used by CWCC, and through the direct client engagement process including insurance applications, policy administration, and ongoing coaching relationships.
What this site actually sets
This is a static, informational website. In its current state it sets no third-party tracking cookies: no advertising pixels, no social-media cookies, no profiling. The only items stored on your device are strictly necessary: the cookie that remembers your consent choice, and local storage used for the same purpose.
The categories, in plain language
1. Strictly necessary — always on
These make the site work and remember your consent choice (the "cwcc-consent-v1" cookie, kept for six months). Consent law does not require permission for these, precisely because the site cannot function without them.
2. Audience measurement — off by default
If we ever enable a measurement tool, it will load only after your explicit consent. Nothing is pre-ticked, and refusing is exactly as easy as accepting.
3. Marketing — off by default, and unused
This site currently uses no marketing cookies. The category exists in the manager so that if this ever changed, the choice would be yours first.
Your rights in Quebec (Law 25)
Quebec's Law 25 requires that non-essential technologies be off by default and activated only by your voluntary action. That is exactly how this site operates. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. The privacy officer of Canadian Wealth Creation Centre Inc. can be reached at info@cwcc.ca.
Across the rest of Canada (PIPEDA)
PIPEDA requires meaningful consent, informed by a plain-language explanation of purposes, which is what this page is. Forms on this site collect information solely to arrange the meeting you request; see our privacy policy.
Email (CASL)
We send commercial electronic messages only with your consent; every message identifies the sender and contains a working unsubscribe mechanism.
